Hi, I’m Draco, a male Australian Cattle Dog. I'm a high-energy, curious pup who loves learning.

I need daily opportunities to learn about life—socialising with other dogs and learning about home life. I will thrive with a steady routine and regular play. I'm a boisterous boy that will need some help learning my manners around people and other dogs. I will need ongoing training to help me learn how to express my energy in a fun but calm way, as sometimes I struggle to slow myself down. I really enjoy positive reinforcement with treats, the staff have been showing me fun ways to be a calm boy, if you choose to adopt me, they can show you too. I sometimes enjoy pats, but I can get over excited and may need some treats to help calm me, this is why I would like to meet all children.

I have only socialised with my littermates, so if you have another dog, I would like to meet them and see if we can be friends. I must have secure outdoor access, like an enclosed backyard as I prefer to spend my time playing outside, to run and burn off all my silly puppy energy. I have limited experience with exploring the big wide world, so a secure yard will help me as I won't have to go on walks right away and can explore at my own pace. I’ll bring loyalty, laughter, and a goofy energy to all your adventures, I am still learning how to walk properly on lead and may be a bit silly sometimes, but I'm sure I'll get it with your help.
