Hi there! My name’s Spike, and I’m a handsome Rottweiler cross on the lookout for my forever family. I may be a big lad, but underneath it all I’m a total softie — affectionate, people-loving, and always ready for a cuddle once I’ve had a moment to get to know you.

I can be a little enthusiastic when meeting new friends (I’ve got a lot of love to give!), but the wonderful humans here are helping me learn polite greetings, and I’m improving every day.

Because of my size and playful energy, I’d thrive in a home with dog-savvy children who are comfortable around bigger dogs. I also need to meet any resident dogs to make sure we’re a great match.

A home that offers me cozy indoor spaces and secure outdoor access would be perfect — I love stretching my legs, exploring, and getting my zoomies out.
