Hi, I'm Maverick!

I'm a young energetic Labrador puppy who has not had the best start to life; I was kept in a backyard and have not yet seen the big world so I'm looking for owners who are willing to slowly introduce me to all the big and amazing things around me. I may come off as confident, but really, I'm just a bit overwhelmed, I need routine and structure, plenty of sleep, chances to learn and form bonds. I enjoy meeting other calm friendly dogs while I'm in the shelter, but I can be unsure if they get too close, so I'd be suited to a home with an older calmer dog to show me the ropes.
