About Gyomei

Meet Gyomei 🐾

Gyomei is a blind juvenile with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. Though he can’t see, his curiosity helps him confidently explore the world using his other senses, and his sweet nature makes him an incredibly endearing companion.

He is cat and dog social and does well with calm, friendly animal companions who respect his space. When adjusting to new environments, Gyomei needs a little extra patience and consistency as he learns the layout and builds confidence—but once he does, he navigates surprisingly well.

One of Gyomei’s most charming traits is that he marches when he walks, lifting his paws with purpose as he explores—an endearing habit that perfectly matches his brave spirit. A true cuddle bug at heart, Gyomei loves close contact and reassurance from his people.

He thrives in a gentle, understanding home where he can feel safe, supported, and deeply loved. With time and kindness, Gyomei will reward his family with endless affection and trust. 💛
