Hi, I’m Gretl.

I’m a 3-month-old Domestic Shorthair with soft fur, bright eyes, and a gentle little heart. The world is still very new to me, and while I’m curious, I can be a bit shy at first. I just need a little time to figure things out and feel safe.

In a quiet, calm home, I truly blossom. Loud noises and lots of activity can make me nervous, so I’m looking for a peaceful household without young children where I can settle in at my own pace. When I first arrive, I may hang back and observe from a cozy hiding spot — that’s just me learning that everything is okay. If you go slow with me and let me come to you, I promise it will be worth it.

Once I’m comfortable, my sweet personality shines. I love gentle pets, soft voices, and warm laps. I’ll reward your patience with soft purrs, tiny head nudges, and the sweetest companionship. I bond closely with my people and feel happiest when I know I’m safe and loved.

All I need is a little patience and a lot of kindness. Give me the time to feel secure, and I’ll give you my whole heart.
