Meet Syke, a beautiful senior greyhound with the sweetest soul and so much love still to give. I may be in my golden years, but I still have a lovely bit of energy and enjoy getting out for my walks, exploring the world around me, and then coming home for a well-earned nap somewhere cosy by your side. I’m a gentle, affectionate girl who is happiest simply being near my people and soaking up all the love and comfort home life has to offer.

I would love a home where I can enjoy the best of both worlds — relaxing indoors with my family while also having easy access to a secure outdoor area for toilet breaks, a stretch of my legs, and some fresh air. I’m very well toilet trained and appreciate having a predictable routine. I’ve shown I can settle beautifully when left alone, so a family working average hours would suit me just fine, as I’m happy to snooze the day away until you return home.

Despite being a larger breed, I’m a calm, sweet-natured lady with lovely manners, so I’m expected to fit in well with children too. If you already have a dog at home, I’d just like to meet them first to make sure we’re the right match. If you’ve been searching for a kind-hearted, graceful companion to share your days with, I would love nothing more than to spend my retirement being adored in a home of my own.
