I’m not flashy, but I’m reliable, and I bring a soft kind of happiness wherever I go. Who I am: I’m adaptable but I have clear boundaries with other dogs. I’m selective and I like to meet potential pals on a parallel walk, with plenty of space to decompress. I crave daily chances to learn about life—new places, sounds, scents—and I’m happiest when I can switch between indoors and outdoors, as long as there’s secure fencing to keep everything safe. I’m not suited to homes with cats, small pets, or birds; no pocket pets. I’ll do best with children aged 12 and up. An energetic household with room to breathe is my ideal rhythm. I’m happiest in controlled introductions and avoid crowded off-leash areas. Where I belong: A home that respects my pace, with solid fencing and a secure outdoor area, would be perfect. I need a family who understands that I might need to move away from another dog or take a moment to recover, rather than forcing interaction. Daily enrichment, steady routines, and a patient, calm presence help me feel safe and happy. I’m a patient listener, eager to learn the rhythms of a new home—a morning breakfast routine, a quiet afternoon, and a bedtime wind-down.
