Meet King 👑

King is a distinguished older gentleman searching for the perfect retirement home. After coming into care with a serious injury that resulted in a leg amputation, he's learning to navigate life on three legs and has shown incredible resilience.

King's ideal home is single level with minimal to no stairs, even ground, non-slip runners, and an elevated feeding station to keep him comfortable. He's a little sensitive to touch now, so he'll thrive with a patient family who will let him set the pace. A quiet home with minimal foot traffic and children 15+ is best.

King has the potential to be social with other dogs, but he's still building confidence and can become frustrated when he sees them. He redirects well and, with time, can continue to grow.

He'll need a secure yard with indoor/outdoor access and settles well when left alone, especially with enrichment to keep his mind busy. His favourite way to unwind? Curling up to watch a good episode of Bluey.
