Hi, I'm Ducky. I'm a medium-sized duck with glossy black feathers and white feathers. I move with a calm, patient pace, and I notice the world in little, curious ways—the ripple of a breeze, the gleam of sunlight on water. I’m the kind of soul who settles in quickly when I feel safe, and I carry a quiet curiosity that perks up when I’m met with kindness. If you’re searching for a thoughtful, gentle companion who brings a soft, hopeful presence to your days, I could be the one. I'm generally well adapted, so once I find my footing I’m steady and approachable. My most important need is secure housing, such as a large aviary or pen, so I can stretch and feel the air on my feathers in safety. A caregiver who understands my pace, and who has cared for fowl before, will help me settle in and feel confident. I’m a medium duck, so I’ll fill a comfortable portion of your day with presence and quiet companionship, especially in the sun and shade you provide. I also love to come up to you and tell you stories of my adventures in the pool!!!!
