About Dory
Hi my name is Dory and I'm a beautiful Blue Tongue Lizard. I look just like the wild lizards that run around in your back yard, all over the east coast of Australia.
I love to hang out in the garden exploring around the bark and fallen leaves. I can be a bit wiggly when first picked up but settle quickly. I am omnivorous, so I like a varied diet eating vegetables, crickets and woodies.
You might notice some interesting looking scales on the tip of my nose; I had these before I came to the RSPCA and they made sure nothing bad was lurking underneath!
I require a few things in my new home that are important to maintain my happiness and health. These include a good quality UV light, heat lamp, hides and water bowl.
