About Nettle
Hi, my name is Nettle and I'm a Jungle Carpet Python. You would usually find my species in the tropical rainforests of Queensland.
I really enjoy chilling out under my heat lamp on top of my hide and soaking in all of the UV rays! As you can see in my photo, I also like coming out of my enclosure to cruise around outside under the sun. When it comes to getting out of my enclosure, I prefer you to use a hook until I learn your routine, as I can be a bit food motivated. I am able to be handled once out of my enclosure! I really enjoy my rodents and occasional quail.
I require a UV light and heat lamp, basking area and water bowl. I need an enclosure where I can comfortably stretch out.
