Hi there, I'm Heff - and I've got a whole lot of love (and zoomies) to give!I might not be able to hear the world around me, but I promise I'll listen to your heart. I'm a sweet and excitable boy, always ready for an adventure or a cuddle - I just need someone patient and kind to help guide me as I learn how to be my very best self.I already know my sit (nailed it!) and I love food, which means training me will be pretty fun for both of us. I'm really good at checking in with my person, so if you've got the time and maybe some experience with deaf dogs like me, I think we'd be a perfect match.Because I can get a little jumpy when I'm excited, a home with older kids would be best. I could possibly live with a calm, social female dog - but I'll need to meet her first to be sure we're a good fit.I'm a clever boy who loves to stay busy - puzzles, toys, walks, playtime - I thrive when I have fun things to do and ways to use my brain. I'm always up for a bit of enrichment and adventure! When I don't have enough to keep me occupied, I might try to come up with my own fun (which I think is pretty creative, even if the humans don't always agree!). A safe, secure yard is a must for me, so I can explore and enjoy the outdoors safely.At my core, I'm just a sweet boy who wants to love and be loved.
