About Frankie

Meet Frankie, a big, lovable boy with an even bigger heart. He adores leaning into his humans for attention and would happily claim the whole couch if given the chance. Frankie can feel overwhelmed by loud noises and confined spaces, so he needs slow, calm introductions to new environments. We recommend a home with older children, though younger kids with large dog experience may be suitable, as Frankie sometimes forgets his size and could knock a small child over. A meet and greet with all family members is required at adoption.Frankie is playful and will thrive with toys and daily enrichment to keep him mentally stimulated. He does pull strongly on the lead, so ongoing training and a harness will help him succeed. If there are other dogs in the household, Frankie must meet them during the adoption process.
