About Delilah

Meet Delilah, a gentle young cat who needs a patient and understanding home. She can be shy and fearful in new environments, so she will need time to settle before showing her true personality. To help her succeed, start her in a small, quiet room and gradually allow her to explore the rest of the house. Providing cat trees, scratch posts, cozy hides like boxes or igloos, and access to shelves or dressers for high and low resting spots will make her feel secure.
Delilah warms up with gentle interaction and loves soft pats and attention. Once she feels safe, she leans into touch and enjoys affection, especially when chicken treats are involved! We recommend a home with teens or older children who understand cat body language and can respect her need for space. She is untested with other cats and may do well with a calm, social dog if introductions are slow and monitored.
