About Luna
Hi! I'm Luna! Though sometimes the staff call me Looney and it seems to suit me. I came into care as a very regretful surrender. My owner fell on hard times and had to move in with family but their dog didn't really like me and bullied me a bit too roughly. It didn't stop me from loving other doggos though. I am a social butterfly here at the shelter, and I just want to play play play with other dogs. I can be a bit much so a dog that can tolerate my nonsense is a necessity. I am a very sweet and loyal girl but I do suffer from some stranger danger nerves. Slow introductions with new people is a must. Men are my main problem and so I would prefer a female only family. Once you get over the hurdle of getting me to trust you, I will be your best friend and make you laugh everyday with my antics. I need a human who is committed to loving me endlessly but also to help me build my confidence and continue to show me that people aren't all bad. Due to my nerves and my penchant for using people as a springboard a home with no kids or older teens is a must. I seem like a handful but when you meet me you will see that I truly am just a baby waiting for the perfect home to help me shine.
