Meet Wattle! This bold and dashing rooster was rescued by a kind soul and brought into the shelter, and he’s already showing us what a standout he is! Wattle is a true gentleman, handsome, with a perfectly groomed beard and those striking, feathery "pants" that give him extra swagger. Whether he's proudly strutting his stuff in the yard or giving his hens a little chat, he brings a confident flair wherever he goes. Wattle takes his job as flock protector very seriously—he’s always on alert and ready to keep his ladies safe.We believe he will get along fabulously with hens and would do best in a home where he has plenty of room to roam and reign. He’d absolutely love it if his new home already had some hens (ideally of similar size) for him to look after.A large, fox-proof, weatherproof, and flight-proof coop is a must—Wattle is no stranger to the sky and will need a secure place to call home.
