About Larry

Hey everyone, my name is Larry, and I am a toy loving greyhound who has retired from racing life and is now looking to become a companion animal for my very own family!!

I am a relaxed boy who loves to do zoomies with my toys around the yard and then collapse into a heap and need a nap to recover, I would love to have an owner who has previous knowledge of my breed or who has done some research into greyhounds. In my perfect home I would love to have indoor and outdoor access, I had never been indoors before my wonderful foster carer took me in, I found a couch and my gosh was it the greatest thing ever! My foster carer said I'm a star in the home! I have shown some social behavior with dogs in care but specifically with other hounds, I would be best suited to go home with another hound, or a dog that is of similar personality and energy levels to me. I've been here at the shelter for over a year now, but the wonderful staff and volunteers take me on doggy day outings so I can have a break from the kennels. I love walking down on the beach and getting puppy chino's, the volunteers say I'm the best walker, I stay right by your side the whole time. If you're looking for a relaxed companion that just wants to be a lounge lizard, look no further, I am your man!

Requirements:

• Must meet all family - Suited to children over 12
• Must meet all dogs (prefers hounds) - Not suited to homes with smaller pets
• Indoor/outdoor access

My adoption fee is $500 and I come desexed and microchipped, with my vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treatments all up to date
