Hi, my name is Akela!

I'm a bright young boy with hopes for an even brighter future. I was adopted out as a little puppy but sadly I had to come back, the people who had me didn't have time for me anymore and felt I was better off with someone who could be there for me. I'm quite a calm dog in quiet environments, I love going down to the office and sniffing around, even snoozing under the workers desks when I'm tired. I also have my moments of play and fun, I love going on a walk or a run, and I just love the company of people, they are my favorite thing ever! I'm looking for the right home this time, a home with an experienced owner who can help me out if I'm being a bit rude or need some direction, an owner willing to provide me enrichment and things to do, and most of all an owner willing to love me and spend lots of time with me. I'm a social dog who enjoys other friendly canines, I go for walks with them while staying at the shelter and so far, I love them all! But If I can't meet the other dog and sniff, I can become a little frustrated and might bark, so this is where the experienced owner comes into play.
