About Tilly

Hey there! My name’s Tilly, and I’m a 6-month-old German Shepherd cross with big ears, an even bigger heart, and endless energy. I came into the shelter as a stray, and to be honest, I didn’t know much about people or the world around me. It was all really new and kind of scary.

But guess what? With time, love, and patience, I’ve totally come out of my shell. I’m now a playful, cheeky, and very energetic pup who’s always up for a splash in the water, or a good old toy toss (the more dramatic the better!). Life is fun, and I’m ready to find my very own forever family to share it with.

I’ve still got a lot to learn, so I’m hoping to find a home with someone who’s had dogs before and knows what it takes to help a young pup like me settle in. I’ve probably never lived in a house before, so everything will be new—noises, routines, even the TV! I’ll need someone who’s patient, consistent, and willing to keep working on my training and socialization. I’m still learning the ropes and will need structure, guidance, and someone who’s up for ongoing training. I’m super smart, I just need to be shown the way! If that’s you, we’re off to a great start.

I’d love a doggy friend—but we’ll need to meet first – I’m pretty social, but I can be a bit full-on with my doggy play style. A calm and tolerant doggo would probably be my best match.

I need a home with a yard – Apartment life is not for me. I need space to stretch my legs, run to my heart’s content, and enjoy the outdoors in between my indoor snuggles.

No young kids, please – I’m still working on my manners. Sometimes I get so excited I jump up, which might be a bit much for younger kids. I think a home with teens (15+) or just adults would be the best fit for now.

I am a loyal, loving, and fun companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your life with laughter. I’ve already come so far, and I know with the right people by my side, I’m going to thrive. I’ve got so much love to give—I’m just waiting for the right person (or people!) to give it to.
