Hi, I’m Zelda! I’m a gentle soul who’s been through a lot of change recently, but I’m learning to feel safe and settle into this new chapter of my life. I may not be the bravest cat on day one, but give me a little time and a peaceful space to decompress, and you’ll see a softer, more curious side of me begin to emerge.

One thing you should know about me? Food is the way to my heart. Treats and tasty meals help me build trust and feel more at ease—especially with new people. Once I start to feel safe, I enjoy gentle pats and might even greet you at the door to say hello (and check if you’ve brought snacks!).

As I get to know you, I’ll slowly become more open and affectionate. With time and patience, this could even include cuddles—especially during quiet, cosy moments. I can get a bit excited around mealtimes, so having a predictable routine really helps me feel secure.

I do best in a quiet home where I can take things at my own pace. Sudden movements or loud noises might still startle me now and then, but I’m quick to settle again once I know everything’s okay. A calm, stable environment where I could have a dedicated safe space just for me while I settled would be ideal, this would help me feel comfortable as I continue to build trust.

While I’m not quite ready to be a lap cat just yet, I have so much potential with the right person—someone who’s patient, gentle, and understands that confidence takes time. If you’re looking for a sweet, food-loving companion
