About Soxy

Hi I'm Soxy! I'm a 9 month old Staffy X with a gentle soul searching for a calm, patient family to call my own!

I can be timid and anxious when I first meet people, and new situations sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. I like to take my time, watching and learning before I decide it’s safe to come closer. But once I trust you, I become sweet, affectionate, and very loyal. I really do love humans, I just need a moment to figure things out.

I’d be happiest in a peaceful home where things aren’t too loud or busy, and I’d love indoor/outdoor access. Running around the backyard is one of my favourite things, I feel brave and happy when I have space to zoom and explore. I really love long-lasting chews like bones or pigs' ear, particularly when I can lay down right beside my humans to enjoy it!

I'm not coping well in shelter, so I'm really hoping to find a kind, understanding family to help me slowly build my confidence and shine in my own soft, sweet way. If you think you could be the family who helps me bloom, I’d really love to meet you.
