Hi, my name is Lyra, let me tell you a bit about myself!

I’m a young girl who is still learning about the world around me. You see, I came to the shelter from a scary situation and I can be quite timid and unsure at times, so I’m looking for a very patient, gentle adopter who will let me move at my own pace and help me build my confidence slowly.

Right now I feel most comfortable outside, so I really need secure fencing and an undercover space to call my own. Then after I have settled in and we have bonded, we can explore indoors together, in little baby steps.

Give me time please! Once I trust you, my sweet and playful personality begins to emerge. I enjoy gentle play, and I like to carry my toy around where ever I go! I promise I'll make you laugh and be as sweet as can be. I do ask for someone who is experience as I will need continued positive, confidence-building training to help me learn manners and navigate the world with reassurance and support. And because I am so nervous, I need to be in a calmer home with adults only, sudden and loud sounds can be very startling.
