Hi, my name is Boris,

I am an energetic and outdoorsy boy searching for a home that understands my needs and can help me thrive.

I would do best if I was an only dog, I have limited experience with other animals, and I am still learning how to feel comfortable around other dogs and can become easily frustrated. For now, a dog-free home will help set me up for success. I love being out in a yard and am happiest when I can spend time outdoors to decompress, so a home with indoor–outdoor access would be ideal. Apartment life would not be suitable for me. I am a high energy guy looking for an active household that can provide plenty of daily enrichment, mental stimulation, and opportunities to learn. I enjoy staying busy and would benefit from structured activities and ongoing training. A home with dog savvy children would be best. I can become over-aroused at times and need people who understand when to give me space and how to gently redirect my excitement. I cope well when left on my own in a secure yard and would be comfortable with someone who works average hours. A secure, solidly fenced yard would be good to keep me safe.

With the right guidance, patience, and enrichment, I will be able to flourish in a home environment and become a loyal companion.
