About Smoosh

At 9 years young, Smoosh is a mellow gentleman with a soft spot for people and a serious love of snacks. Despite his age, Smoosh still has a pep in his step and enjoys getting out for a stroll. He walks well on a harness, usually trotting along calmly at the end of the lead.

Smoosh loves leaning in for pats and ear rubs, and is happiest laying next to you on his bed, soaking up the company. He can keep himself entertained - though he is not fussed on toys, but is very food motivated. Smoosh can become quite focused on food and has been known to jump up when treats are around, so managing him during mealtimes or food prep will be important in a home setting. Due to his food focus, Smoosh will be best suited to a home with no other animals in it. For this reason he is also not suited to a home with small children, but may be suitable with dog-savvy teenagers.

He already knows basic cues like sit, drop, and shake, and would likely enjoy further training (especially if snacks are involved!). He will make an excellent and loving companion for the right home!
