Hi there, I’m Beetle!

I’m a 5-month-old staffy puppy with a fast tail, faster feet, and big feelings.

When I get excited, I get the wiggles all over – my whole body just can’t help but bounce and boogie! But I’m also a sensitive soul, and I need a little time and gentle encouragement to feel safe and confident in new situations. Once I trust you, I’m all cuddles, fun, and eager to please.

I’ve met some other dogs already and I’m a good listener – I take my cues well when they tell me what’s okay and what’s not. I’d love to live with a friendly dog who’s got the same zoomy, playful energy I do, but who can also help show me the ropes as I grow into a polite and well-balanced grown-up dog. A buddy who can teach me when to play and when to chill would be just perfect!

I’m still learning all the things puppies need to know, so I’d really benefit from positive reinforcement training (I hear snacks are involved, which sounds like a win). A calm, patient approach helps me feel safe and supported, and I do my best learning when things are clear and kind.
