About Zuri

Hello, my name is Zuri. I was very much loved in a safe home once, and through no fault of my own, lost my loving owner. I ended up in RSPCA where I was given all the care I needed. It turns out I did need extra care. I have a degenerative condition called of the spine called spondylosis. I am unable to jump onto high places like other cats do, which means I will be a floor cat and won't be knocking things off your bench & table tops. In addition, I was so scared coming in, shelter life just did not agree with me. All the unfamiliar noises and smells left me feeling lost and insecure - I missed my familiar environment. I was lucky enough to go to a foster home, where I have my own space. Once I became familiar with the smells, noises and daily routine I came out of my shell. I love human company and seek interaction, on my terms. I can be very chatty at times and will let you know how much I miss you, when you get home from work. I am also cat social and will do well going home to a laid-back feline friend. I am suited to a quiet and loving, adult only home, where I will be encouraged to grow in confidence in my own time. Once I do grow in confidence I will return the love unconditionally. If you would like to help me become the confident cat I once was, then please send in your expression of interest. NOTE: I am an indoor cat only as I will not cope outdoor - it will just be too overwhelming for me.
